Silverstar’s New Culinary Offerings will Soon Delight Taste Buds
The new-look Silverstar will soon be offering a host of dining options to cater to all taste buds. Six new restaurants are being added as part of the development, of which one is a unique brew pub restaurant called Publicity.
The four new restaurants surrounding the outdoor square will offer Portuguese, Italian and Thai inspired dining options and are all firsts for the West Rand:
1. Calisto’s:
Offering the pinnacle of Portuguese perfection, its menu includes superb seafood; incomparable prawns, individual or by the kilo or half kilo; crayfish; oysters and bacalhau. Calisto’s also offers full flavoured Portuguese steaks; distinguished desserts and nine variations of coffee, including Mississippi Mud.
2. Col’Cacchio Pizzeria:
Col’Cacchio is all about experiencing Italian inspired food at its best. It offers the full sit down menu range with over 50 different combinations of thin based gourmet pizzas and an impressive variety of freshly prepared salads and pastas.
3. Vigour & Verve:
Vigour & Verve is a funky afro urban coffee shop with breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. This trendy new cafe offers guests wholesome meals in a modern and organic environment.
4. Kai Thai:
Experience the sublime taste that is Thailand at Kai Thai restaurant. Kai Thai uses fresh ingredients and dishes are prepared just before serving to ensure their nutritional value and crisp, fresh tastes are retained.
5. Publicity:
Publicity is a new pub and grill located next to the big outdoor screen. This unique family dining spot is built over two levels and consists of a beer garden with craft beer and an outdoor family venue.
All these restaurants will have closed terraces with seating overlooking the outdoor square. The design follows the international trend of cafe and bistro style dining and the growing trend to dine alfresco.
6. Spur:
Spur will be located inside the complex and its menu mainly features beef burgers, steaks and ribs, but also includes salads, chicken, seafood and vegetarian options. The restaurant also sells a range of sauces and other condiments under its own brand.
Fast food outlets such as Raj, Steers, Mi-Vami and Noodle Bar will also form part of the dining mix at the new-look Silverstar. These restaurants will be located opposite the entertainment zone and will have one centralised seating area on a mezzanine level.
Other restaurants inside the complex include Billy G, Steak and Black Cherry Coffee Shop.
